The profound teachings of Dzogchen (called the Great Perfection) help us to directly discover our primordially pure nature, allowing our confused concepts and emotions to be naturally liberated.
As we learn to let go of attachment and clinging in our lives and glimpse the true nature of our mind, we begin to experience a sense of freedom that is gradually transformed into profound happiness and, ultimately, bliss.
Tsoknyi Rinpoche is one of those rare teachers whose humorous lighthearted, yet illuminating style appeals to both beginners and advanced practitioners alike and will enable us to gain experience of awareness through hands-on exercises.
Not included in the course fees is the dana for the teacher.
In addition to the fixed fee for various expenses and the Kamalashila Institute, the participants can make a donation (dana) to the teacher sometime during the retreat. Dana is given to express one’s gratitude for receiving the dharma. The giving of dana is a personal response, and the setting of a fixed amount would clash with this. Our meetings should express generosity, the flow of giving: we all give our time and energy to come, we give our focused attention to the study and practice, we give our warmth and availability to create a harmonious atmosphere… So within that field of giving people can, as they are moved to do so, give some dana which people can put in an envelope to be offered at a certain point.
Please bring along an envelope for the dana.
The retreat can only be booked as a whole.
Participants of this course are also entitled to book the following course from 29 April to 05 May 2019 with Tsoknyi Rinpoche Dzogchen and Mahamudra Retreat – Silence Retreat for advanced students
